Brief: Develop a unit with responsive characteristics to adapt to an extreme climatic condition

Project: Model: Addresses performative characteristics of a water lily: as the organism populates, it reacts to existing units, pushing upwards and responding to neighboring units for access to sunlight.

Drawing: Using the logic of the model (understanding spatial relationships between units as a way of curating space), the drawing investigates how to congregate units, first along edge conditions, then out into open water.
