Misi-Ziibi Aberations
Semester: Fourth semester studio project
Critic: Derek Hoeferlin
Brief: Address a contemporary issue of industry surrounding the Mississippi River at St. Louis
Project: A semi-permanent sediment collection system with a deployable pod for the distribution of the collected sediment.
The semi-permanent unit occupies space within a zone currently under the control of a single, private industry, the barge industry. By asserting a presence within the rivers, the new system draws attention to the imbalance of the regulatory system and challenges the existing monopoly.
This was designed using Grasshopper for Rhinoceros.
